Lacto-N-tetraose

Intended Use: Intended for use as an ingredient in non-exempt infant formula for term infants at a maximum level of 0.8 g/L, formula for young children (>12 months) at a maximum level of 0.6 g/L, and in other food categories at maximum levels up to 20 g/L, excluding use in alcoholic beverages, products under the jurisdiction of the United States Department of Agriculture, or in foods where standards of identity preclude its use. Long Health states that the use of LNT in infant formula is not restricted to any specific protein base (e.g., cow milk-based and soy-based).
