Preparation containing the bacterial monophages, BP-63 and LVR16-A, specific to Salmonella

According to Section 409(h)(1)(C) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, food contact substance notifications (FCNs) are effective only for the listed manufacturer and its customers. Other manufacturers must submit their own FCN for the same food contact substance and intended use.
Intended Use: Intended for use as an antimicrobial agent to control Salmonella when applied at up to 108 plaque-forming units (PFU)/g of food in ready-to-eat meat and poultry products; meat and poultry carcasses and parts; egg products; fresh and processed fruits; fresh and processed vegetables; and fish (excluding Siluriformes) and shellfish.
